What is the problem with these specific helmets?
We been notified that insufficient impact absorption capacity at extreme low temperatures (-20°C) may exist in certain Biltwell Gringo and Gringo S helmets which can, in the event of a crash, lead to possible injuries up to a risk to life and limb.
What to do if you have a faulty helmet?
If you own a helmet with the specific tag as shown above please stop using the helmet immediately. Then please take a picture of the tag of your helmet (make sure the tag is clear and readable in the picture).

What happens after I send the message?
We will check your helmet along with the order number you sent us. If it is indeed a faulty helmet we will send you a return label so you can sent your helmet back to us. We will also contact you about the various alternative options to get you on the road again ASAP!
I don't want to sent my helmet!
We understand! I mean we all want to ride now, but please look out for your own safety and follow these safety procedures. We will then contact you right away with alternative options so you can going again quickly!
I Already sold the helmet, what now?
Please forward this message immediately to the person you have sold this helmet to and make them aware of the situation.
